Beautiful vintage Catholic style music box with Thorens movements and made in Switzerland. Made of celluloid with wonderfully detailed stain glass decals on each panel. Wind it up, push the little gold tinted button and the box starts to play. As it plays “Ava Maria de Gounod” the 6 panels slowly open to reveal 5 different Catholic Saints. 1 panel has a holder for the Holy Water bottle. The music stops, leaving the doors/panels open to explore. Press the button again and it plays ” Ava Maria de Schubert” as the doors slowly close again. Please remember that Thornes movements need only a little winding…7-8 clicks or you will easily over wind this beautiful box. Measures: 10″ to top of cross by 7″ wide, Condition: Very Good, missing one of the saints from inside a door, one saint has been reattached. Music plays smoothly, but just a bit slow..There is a small area on one of the panels that has been peeled away. Typical age wear noted and several small pit marks to gold dome.

This fantastic camera is a camera collectors must have. All functions appear to work and for it’s age this camera is in very good condition, very clean and clear. The case has had a lot experience with the right side stitching broken, leather is in good shape. This collectible is used and sold as is.
